So today I had the pleasure of not only meeting but playing with Antonio Sanchez! He is this year's Zildjan Drummer and therefore comes into Berklee for a short residency and joins Greg Hopkins Concert Jazz Orchestra as a guest drummer! He is not only a ridiculous drummer and super easy to play with, he is also a really nice, easy going guy!
Today we ran through each of the five songs with him once in preparation for the show tomorrow night! It's at 8:15 in the BPC and will be fantastic! Not only is he playing with us but he is playing a small group set with George Garzone and John Lockwood after the big band set!
